Documents:

Complete the online application form (University of Dayton or Common Application).

Official high school transcript or secondary school certificate, with translation if not in English.

Copy of valid passport for international applicants.

Essay/personal statement as part of the application.

Proof of English language proficiency if the applicant’s native language is not English.

For international applicants: financial documentation (bank statements) showing ability to cover tuition and living expenses.

Entrance Test Requirements:

SAT or ACT scores are optional; the university uses a “test-optional” policy for many programs.

Applicants are evaluated primarily on high school academic record, coursework rigor, essay, and other submitted materials.

Language Test Requirements (for non-native English speakers):

TOEFL iBT: Minimum 70 for undergraduate full admission.

IELTS Academic: Minimum band 6.0.

PTE Academic: Minimum score 50.

Duolingo English Test: Minimum score 100.

Exemption may apply if prior education was fully in English at an institution recognized by the university.
