Everything You Need to Know About Application Requirements at University of Dubai

To apply, you must submit:

A completed application form

Original or attested UAE high school certificate or an equivalent approved by the Ministry of Education

English proficiency documentation, as required per program

A copy of your passport and identity card

Four passport-sized photographs (physical or JPEG format)

Proof of payment for non-refundable admission fees

If applying to a micro-credential within an undergraduate program, follow either the UD-specific or external partner program requirements, including consent for document sharing

Key criteria include:

If educated in a non-MOE licensed but English-medium high school, no English test is needed. Otherwise, you must meet one of the following:

80% in final year English (MOE curriculum, valid for 3 years)

IELTS Academic ≥?5.0

TOEFL: Paper-based 500, Internet-based 61

Specific programs like the LLB (joint with University of London) may have additional requirements, such as a minimum score of 70% in Mathematics or passing the MPT exam, and meeting both UD and UoL requirements, including IELTS 6.0.
