Academic Qualification:

Applicants must have a recognized Hochschulzugangsberechtigung (university entrance qualification). For international students, this usually corresponds to a 12-year school certificate equivalent to the German Abitur. Non-EU applicants must get their certificates evaluated via uni-assist.de.

Language Proficiency:

For German-taught programs: Proficiency in German is mandatory. Accepted certificates include:

DSH-2 (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang)

TestDaF (minimum TDN 4 in all sections)

Goethe-Zertifikat C2 or Telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule

For English-taught programs: TOEFL (≥ 79 iBT), IELTS (≥ 6.0), or equivalent proof is required.

Additional Subject-Specific Requirements:

Some programs (like Biology, Medicine, or Economics) may require prerequisite subjects in high school (e.g., Mathematics or Natural Sciences) and a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on the German grading scale.
