The University of Lodz is known as a #HumanUniversity — a dynamically changing community where people are valued most and where people are considered more important than processes. The university operates on the principles of relationships, cooperation and openness, respects diversity and builds an inclusive academic environment where students, doctoral students and employees can develop their potential. It is also a member of the UNIC European University alliance of post-industrial cities.
