University of Manchester residence halls are spread across three residential campuses—City, Fallowfield, and Victoria Park—each with its own distinct features, dining options, and amenities. If you choose to live north of the university campus, you'll be a short walk or bus ride from the city centre, while if you choose to live south of the campus, you'll be ten minutes' walk from the action. The city campus halls are: Denmark Road, Horniman House (which includes accommodations suitable for couples but not children), Kincardine Court, Park View, Piccadilly Point Square Gardens, Weston Hall, Whitworth Park. Fallowfield, a well-liked, energetic suburb about 2.5 km south of the main university campus, is home to thousands of happy students and locals, fostering a true feeling of community. Fallowfield, which is renowned for its vibrant social scene and is practically a town inside a city, offers plenty of chances for you to meet new people. It is the perfect place to reside because of the excellent variety of stores, cafes, pubs, and a regular bus service to and from the city centre. The Armitage Centre, one of the University's two sports facilities, is also located in Fallowfield. Squash and badminton courts, exercise classes, and all-weather and grass cricket, rugby, hockey, and football fields are available at the centre.
