In-state freshmen must: Complete the Louisiana Board of Regents' high school Core 4 curriculum (19 units). Achieve a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Additionally, meet one of the following: Core GPA of at least 2.5. ACT composite score of at least 23 (or SAT equivalent). Hold an Associate Degree or 15 early college academic credit hours with at least a 2.25 GPA.
International students must submit official high school transcripts in the original language, accompanied by an official English translation. International college/university transcripts must be evaluated by one of the NACES Evaluation Agencies. Additionally, students must provide evidence of financial support and meet English proficiency requirements.
All students who meet UNO's admission requirements and have completed the Statement of Financial Support to the university's satisfaction will be mailed an I-20 (F-1 status) or DS-2019 (J-1 status) form along with their admission letter.
