1. Academic Requirements:

Completion of a recognized secondary school diploma equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma.

Strong academic performance in core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and English.

Competitive GPA (generally above 3.7 on a 4.0 scale).

Advanced coursework (AP, IB, A-Level, or equivalent) is highly recommended.

2. Standardized Test Scores (Optional for Some Programs):

SAT or ACT: While Penn has adopted a test-optional policy for certain admissions cycles, submitting high scores can strengthen an application.

Recommended Scores: SAT (1400-1560), ACT (32-35) for competitive applicants.

3. English Proficiency Test (For Non-Native English Speakers):

TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 100 (higher is recommended).

IELTS: Minimum score of 7.0.

Duolingo English Test (DET): Minimum score of 130.

Exemptions may apply if the student has studied in an English-speaking curriculum for several years.

Completed Common Application or Coalition Application with the Penn supplement.
