    •    Academic Qualifications: Applicants must have completed an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or an equivalent qualification. For international students, this typically means the completion of Year 12 or its overseas equivalent. 

    •    English Language Proficiency: International applicants are required to demonstrate English language proficiency. The standard requirement is an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 overall, with no individual band less than 6.0. Equivalent scores from other recognized English language tests, such as TOEFL or PTE Academic, are also accepted. 

    •    Country-Specific Requirements: UTAS provides detailed entry requirements based on the applicant’s country of education. For instance, Indian applicants need 65% in the best four subjects in Class 12 from a State Board or the Central Boards. Applicants from Punjab and Haryana State Boards must have 80% marks in their best four subjects.
