1. Academic Qualifications

Secondary School Diploma: Equivalent to the Austrian Matura (e.g., A-Levels, IB Diploma, High School Diploma with APs).

Prerequisite Subjects: Biology + Chemistry (or Physics) must be included in your final exams.

Country-Specific Requirements: Some countries require additional documentation (e.g., Studienkolleg for certain non-EU diplomas).

2. German Language Proficiency (Mandatory)

ÖSD C1

Telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule

No conditional admission: Proof must be submitted before application.

3. Entrance Exam ("MedAT-Vet")

Format: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Reading Comprehension, and Cognitive Skills.

Exam Language: German (must meet C1 level to pass).

Held Annually: Usually in July/August (registration opens in March).

4. Application Process

Deadline: Typically early September for non-EU students.

Documents:

Translated/accredited diploma + transcripts.

Proof of German proficiency.

Passport copy.

CV and motivation letter (sometimes required).

No tuition fees: Only the €20.70 student union fee per semester (EU/non-EU).
