1. Complete the UW System application online.
2. Pay the $56 Graduate Application Fee by credit card at the time of submission. The application cannot be processed until this fee is received.
3. Official transcripts from all schools attended. Non-English documents need certified English translations. Email secondary transcripts to [email protected]. Outside U.S. college work: submit official transcripts + NACES course by course evaluation (ECE/WES; 3–4 weeks), sent to UW Parkside. Partner students exempt.
4. Non native English speakers whose prior education was not conducted in English must submit proof of English proficiency. Proficiency may be demonstrated by: Minimum TOEFL score of 71 (Internet based), Institution Code 1860; Minimum IELTS score of 6.0; ACT English subscore of 23 or higher; Duolingo English Test (DET) score of 100 or higher; PTE Pearson score of 50. 5. International students requiring student visas must certify sufficient financial support for the first full year of education. Submit the University Financial Sponsorship Form for International Students, bank statements clearly showing financial resources in US dollars, and a color copy of passport. Upload to: International Student Financial Documents.
6. Upload a copy of your approved F 1 student visa to: Visa Upload.
7. Note: Student visas cannot be issued for 100% online programs.
