For International Students (F-1 visa), students may enter the U.S. up to 30 days before the start date on the I-20 form and may stay up to 60 days following the expiration date of the I-20. For Exchange Students (J-1 visa), students may enter the U.S. up to 30 days before the start date on the DS-2019 form and may stay up to 30 days following the expiration date of the DS-2019
International students will need to submit additional financial documentation for immigration purposes to [email protected]. These items are not required at the time of admission but will be required to have an I-20 issued. The bank statement/financial documents must be issued within six months of submission and must show enough liquid funds to cover the total cost
