Student Support

Cameron University's Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded Title IV program that has been part of the campus since 1987. SSS offers academic support services to CU students who have academic need, are first generation, have an economic need, or are students with disabilities. Services include academic advisement, tutoring, mentoring, career advisement, financial assistance information, cultural trips and workshops, and information about campus and community resources in an effort to help program participants graduate with baccalaureate degrees. All services are offered at no charge to eligible students. The Student Enrichment Center offers academic coaching, workshops, skills development in personal finances and for the workplace, as well as community resource information. The Office of Student Development is responsible for Career Services, Disability Services, Inclusion and Student Success, and Judicial Affairs.

University Housing offers a variety of on-campus living options. Residence halls are locked 24 hours a day, and students are issued a key for access. The halls remain open during Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring breaks. Housing costs are charged by the university, with rates varying by room type, such as a double room in Arey Hall or a single room in Pulliam Hall. All housing fees include laundry, printing, and shuttle services. Students living on campus are required to sign a housing contract for the full academic year
