International students must meet the following academic criteria:

A recognized bachelor’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences (HBO or equivalent).

The bachelor’s degree should usually be in a relevant or related field to the master’s programme (for example, business, economics, design, or engineering depending on the course).

Applicants must demonstrate knowledge, skills, and understanding at bachelor’s level.

Some programmes may require additional qualifications, interviews, or portfolio assessments depending on the specialization. 

International students whose previous education was not in English must provide proof of English proficiency:

IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent English test score required.

Typical minimum scores (programme-dependent):

IELTS: usually 6.0 or higher

TOEFL: equivalent acceptable score

English test results must be valid (usually within 2 years).

The general postgraduate application process includes:

Register in the Dutch national application system Studielink.

Submit required documents such as:

Bachelor’s degree certificate

Academic transcripts

English proficiency certificate

CV and motivation letter (programme-dependent)

Attend an interview or admission procedure if required by the programme.
