Around 14,00,00 students registered for CUET UG

Around 14,00,00 students have registered for CUETUG entrance exam this year. There has been a 41% increase in the number of applicants from the last year. Last year CUET experienced a dip in the number of students registered for the exam. Mostly it was because of the delayed examination process as students decided to take admission in private universities that had started their academic session. This year Delhi University took the criticism into consideration and released all the notifications regarding the exam very early. Most of these applications are for Delhi University. After that the students have registered for the Banaras Hindu University followed by Allahabad University. The maximum number of students who have registered for the exam or from Uttar Pradesh followed by Delhi and Bihar.

CBSE to revise its examination pattern from 2024

CBSE has decided to revise its examination pattern from the coming session. It will focus more on practical aspects of knowledge and thus will increase MCQ based questions and decrease long answer type questions. CBSE has taken this decision to align with the new education policy that focuses more on the practical aspects of education rather than theoretical -based knowledge. This will help students to prepare for the future entrance exams that they will have to give. Students will easily be able to answer questions related to critical thinking and innovation.

For class 10th, around 50% of the questions will be based on critical thinking, creative, thinking and innovation. they will be more competency-based and focused on case studies. The objective type questions will make for 20% of the question paper. The short answer and long answer type will make for 30%

Over 20,00,00 aspirants register for NEET UG 2023

The national entrance examination test which is one of the most sought-after medical entrance exams in India reported around 20,00,00 registrations for the year 2023 to 2024. The NEET exam is organised by NTA every year for both UG and PG courses. Last year around 18,00,00 students registered for the same exam. This year there has been an increase in the number of registrations which means that students are more interested in staying in their own country and pursuing medicine. This can also mean that students are increasingly interested in studying medicine which is why most students are interested in pursuing an MBBS degree.

80,000 Nepali students have taken an NOC to study in a foreign university since the last one year

As per latest reports, around 80,000 Nepali students have taken a No Objection Certificate to study in foreign universities from July 2022 to March 2023. This data is indicative of the rising trend in Nepal for studying abroad. The foreign study permit branch from Nepal has said that around 600 students in Nepal apply for study abroad every day. Out of these 600 students, on an average 500 students get their permits approved.

Many of the students are not aware about the proper deadlines and dates to apply for NOC. The branch has stated that since the time they have informed all the candidates about the particular time and date, the number of students applying has decreased. For the convenience of these people, the branch is also providing them with free Wi-Fi. The branch has been consistently working to make sure that most of the NOC requests are looked and sanctioned within a day or two of application deposit.
