Cambridge University selects six Indian students for its prestigious scholarship

Cambridge University has selected six students from India for its annual scholarship. Among the 77 selected candidates, six are from India. The scholarship is funded by the Gates Cambridge foundation. The six Indian students include Preeti Pratishruti Dash (PhD Law), Diksha Dewan (PhD Chemistry), Spatika Jayaram (PhD Physiology, Development and Neuroscience), Janani Mohan (PhD Politics and International Studies), Vishal Vasanthakumar (PhD Sociology), and Arushi Vats (PhD History of Art).

This scholarship was started in 2001 and since then has supported more than 2100 students from around 110 countries of the world.

Deakin University expands 2023 by providing 10 more scholarships to international students

Recently, Deakin University Australia has announced its 2023 scholarship programme. It will be providing hundred percent scholarships to international students under the scholarship programme. Each of the scholarships is worth US$6 million. 10 more Indian students than regular will be provided with this scholarship to support their education. The selection will be done on the basis of merit.

This has been called the changing life's program and aims at improving the life of students who have the potential, but due to scars resources cannot do what they want in their lives. The scholarship has a very philanthropical perspective.

University of East Anglia announces various scholarships for Indian students in finance, literature and economics

University of East Anglia has recently announced a bunch of scholarships for international students coming from India. The scholarships are available under various disciplines, including finance, writing, economics and many more. It is applicable for students who want to apply for the academic session of 2023 to 2024. This includes the Soni Mehta scholarship which is for students who want to become writers. The scholarship is worth €28,500. The school of international development is also offering a scholarship word €19,000 to any student wants to pursue a Masters degree from the University.MSc Academic and Professional Scholarships (International) is being awarded by the School of Economics.

This year Australia is expecting to top its annual intake of international students in 2019 which was 75,000. This means that Australia's expecting to welcome around one lakh immigrants in the form of international students. PFH German University, announces scholarships worth Rs.2.5 crore for international students

PFH German university has announced a special scholarship for Indian students who want to pursue a Masters degree from the university. The last date to apply for the scholarship is 15th April, 2023. The scholarship is around Rs.2.5 crore. Under the scholarship, two selected students will get a 50% fee waiver. 10 students will get a 30% fee waiver on their tuition fees. 50 students will get a 20% fee waiver on their tuition fees. Interested students can take admission in MS in General Management, UX/UI, Lightweight Engineering and Composites, Industrial Engineering, New Mobility – Micro mobility, and Digitalization and Automation. The students who have scored more than 60% in their bachelors degree are eligible for the scholarship. They should also have a good technical knowledge and should be fluent with their communication. Students will be required to give an interview round before getting finally selected.

TOEFL test to be an hour shorter than before

The Educational Testing Service (ETS) has announced that from this year onwards, a number of changes will be incorporated. The test will now take only two hours to complete rather than the earlier three hour time period.Writing for an Academic Discussion’ task, is a new task that has been introduced in the place of Academic Discussion Test. The reading section will also be shorter from now on. The unscored questions have been removed.

Also, the registration process will now be a lot simpler than before. The registration process will begin in July, 2023 for all the students who want to appear for the exam. The best part about the test is that students will not be able to see their exam result declaration date just after completing their test.
