Educational Qualification: Applicants must have completed 12 years of schooling, obtaining a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or an equivalent qualification such as GCE A-Level, with a strong emphasis on subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
Minimum GPA Requirements: Candidates should have a minimum GPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 in both the HSC and SSC examinations, or equivalent, without any third division/class in any public examination.
Subject-Specific GPA: Applicants must have a minimum GPA in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English in their HSC examination to be eligible for the admission test.
Admission Test Eligibility: Only students with the best grades in the aforementioned subjects are allowed to sit for the admission test.
Admission Test Format: The admission test comprises 40 multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, each carrying 10 marks, to be completed within two hours.
Merit-Based Selection: Approximately 1,309 students are selected based on their performance in the admission test and previous academic records.
