The Deutschlandstipendium is a merit-based scholarship providing 300 euros monthly, funded equally by private donors and the federal government. Open to HWR Berlin students with outstanding academic performance (including first-semester students expected to excel), the scholarship also considers social engagement, personal background, and significant biographic challenges. Applications are typically accepted from January 3 to January 31 for the summer semester starting April 1. It does not affect BAföG eligibility and is available regardless of income .
