EU citizens do not require a visa to study in Poland. Non-EU citizens generally need a visa to study in Poland. After you are accepted and have paid your tuition fee, Civitas University will provide the official Acceptance Letter and other supporting documents necessary for your visa application. These documents are uploaded to your individual account on the admissions portal
For non-EU students whose visa does not cover their entire planned period of study, or for EU students staying longer than 3 months, a temporary residence permit (Karta pobytu) is required. This permit is issued by the Voivodeship Office (Urząd Wojewódzki). To apply, students must submit documents including a valid passport, proof of health insurance, an official letter of acceptance from the university, and a declaration confirming sufficient financial resources to cover living expenses in Poland .
