General Application Requirements

Required Materials:

Completed online application (fee: $40 domestic / $55 international)  .

Official transcripts from all previous institutions.

Resume

Personal statement (≤ 800 words).

Letters of recommendation (typically 2; some programs like MAT may require 3).

Standardized Test (GRE/GMAT): Required only for the on-campus MBA; waived for applicants with GPA ≥ 3.2.

Committee Review: Graduate admissions decisions are made by faculty review committees within each school

Graduate Scholarship Applicants

Additional required materials include:

A 500–1,000 word essay aligning with Clark’s mission

A 1–3 minute video essay tailored to program interests.

Specific Program Requirements: MSW Program

For the Master of Social Work (MSW):

GPA minimums:

3.0 for the 2– and 3-year tracks

3.2 for the Advanced Standing track.

Prerequisites:

21 semester hours in social/behavioral sciences and humanities

3 hours in biological science

3 hours in college-level mathematics

GRE is not required.

3 letters of recommendation, a personal statement (3–5 pages), and a $40 application fee are required.
