Dalian Maritime University was established in the year 1909. It is a public university which is situated in Dalian in People’s Republic of China. It was formed as a part of Shipping Management Section of Nanyang Institute and after the amalgamation of three maritime institutions in 1953. It was started as Dalian Marine College.
