Official Transcripts
You need to provide official transcripts from all previously attended universities or colleges. These documents must show your academic history, including courses taken, grades received, and degree awarded. If your transcripts are not in English, certified translations are required. EMU evaluates your academic performance based on these transcripts to determine eligibility for the master’s program.

Standardized Test Scores (if required)
Some programs at EMU may require GRE or GMAT scores. You need to submit official score reports directly from the testing agency. Note that certain programs may waive this requirement based on prior academic performance or professional experience, so always check the specific program requirements.

Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
A detailed CV highlighting your educational background, work experience, internships, research projects, publications (if any), and other relevant achievements. This document helps the admissions committee assess your professional and academic preparedness for graduate-level study.

Statement of Purpose (SOP) or Personal Statement
This is a written essay where you explain your motivation for pursuing the master’s program, career goals, research interests, and why you chose EMU. A strong SOP demonstrates your alignment with the program and your readiness for graduate-level academic work.

Letters of Recommendation
Typically, 2–3 recommendation letters are required from professors, supervisors, or professional mentors who can vouch for your academic abilities, professional skills, and potential for success in graduate studies. Strong letters provide insight into your character, work ethic, and suitability for the chosen program.

Proof of English Language Proficiency
For international students, you must submit TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores to demonstrate English proficiency. Some programs may accept other forms of proof, such as completion of prior education in English. Minimum score requirements vary depending on the program.
