This well-preserved architectural landmark has been modernized with cutting-edge technology, including hybrid‑teaching enabled lecture halls, tracking cameras, group-study rooms, modern seminar spaces, a dedicated research lab, and a communal student lounge. In November 2023, ESMT installed a photovoltaic system of 893 modules, covering around 25% of its electricity demand—part of a broader climate‑neutral strategy by 2030.
