Housing facilities (Accommodation)

To address Berlin’s tight housing market, since June 2024 ESMT offers seven fully furnished shared flats near campus (Mühlendamm 1)—accommodating up to six students per apartment. These include single and double rooms (one flat reserved exclusively for women), with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Rents are cost-based: approx. €890/month for single rooms, €1,300/month for long-term double rooms, and slightly higher for short stays. Availability is limited and applications are selective. ESMT also provides assistance with finding private housing via partnerships with public and private housing providers in Berlin.

Student Safety

ESMT’s Student Support system ensures both physical and psychological well-being. The Student Services Office oversees mental health support through external partners, offers mindfulness training, and ensures disability inclusion. For students with chronic health conditions or disabilities, the office facilitates “Nachteilsausgleich” (reasonable mitigation measures) and campus accessibility.
