The students benefit greatly from experiencing the preclinical, primarily theoretical portion of their study in the faculty's historic buildings as well as in contemporary labs, autopsy rooms, and other learning spaces. In the distinctive Centre of Medical Simulations, housed in the Faculty of Medicine's Institute of Physiology building, they receive extremely cutting-edge instruction. The faculty has at its disposal also numerous other simulators at various other departments and institutes, such simulators for venepuncture, catheterisation of urinary tract, or laparoscopic surgeries, while at the stomatology clinic, instructional aids include phantoms.
