Standardized Test Scores (SAT / ACT)
These are optional under Fisk’s test-optional policy for first-year students. Students may submit scores for consideration (especially for scholarships), but they are not required for general admission.
Minimum GPA / Academic Qualifications
Typically, a minimum un-weighted high school GPA of 2.5 / 4.0 or 2.0 plus acceptable SAT/ACT scores (if not meeting the higher GPA threshold).
Also, strong preparation is expected: coursework in high school in sciences and mathematics, especially for science/natural science majors.
Character, Leadership, & Holistic Review
Fisk considers extracurriculars, leadership, service, essays / personal statements, and personal qualities.
Application Deadlines / Scholarships
Applying early may increase chances for aid / scholarships. Early Action deadlines, Regular Decision, etc.
International Student Requirements
For international undergrad applicants: proof of academic credentials, English proficiency as needed, full-time enrollment (minimum credit hours per semester), immunizations + health insurance, etc.
