Applicants must hold an undergraduate (BA or BS) degree from an accredited institution.
Completed Application Form
Submit the online graduate application; all required materials need to be submitted to the Graduate Studies office.
Official Transcripts
All undergraduate transcripts from institutions attended must be submitted. Unofficial transcripts may be acceptable for initial review, but official ones required upon enrollment.
Letters of Recommendation
Three letters are typically required, from people familiar with applicant’s academic / professional capabilities.
Personal Statement
A personal statement or essay describing background, career/research goals, reasons for choosing the program.
English Proficiency (if needed)
If English is not the applicant’s native language, TOEFL or IELTS scores (or equivalent) are required. Self-reported may be used initially; official at enrollment.
GRE / GMAT
Not required; applicants may submit GRE or GMAT scores if they believe them beneficial. But the absence of test scores is not a barrier.
Resume / CV
Include work experience, academic honors, research experience, publications or presentations if any.
Deadlines
Application deadlines for graduate entry are typically April 15 for Fall semester and December 3 for Spring.
Field / Program Specific Requirements
For specific programs (e.g. Psychology MA), certain undergraduate prerequisites are required: courses in psychology, statistics, research methods; possibly abnormal psychology etc.
