Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university (or equivalent) in a relevant field. 

Minimum cumulative GPA in the last 60 undergraduate credits (often ~2.7); some programs may require higher. 

Submit official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended. 

Provide a Statement of Purpose / letter of interest explaining goals, research/field interests, fit. 

Provide two letters of recommendation. 

English proficiency for non-native speakers (via TOEFL/IELTS etc.). 

For applicants with lower GPAs (below certain thresholds), standardized tests (GRE) may be required. 

Some programs allow an accelerated “4+1” pathway (begin graduate courses in senior undergrad year) — eligibility criteria include minimum GPA, remaining credits etc. 

Apply by the graduate admission deadline and complete all required documentation (transcripts, recommendations, SOP) before deadline. 

Save spot by submitting any required deposits once admitted; complete any preparatory steps (orientation, course registration etc.).
