Bachelor’s Admission Requirements – Graz University of Technology (TU Graz)

General Requirements:

Secondary School Leaving Certificate:

A valid secondary school leaving certificate or proof of passing the university entrance qualification exam.

Additional Examinations:

Some programs may require supplementary examinations before or during the program.

German Language Proficiency (for German-taught programs):

If German is not your native language, you must provide proof of German proficiency or take a supplementary German exam before admission.

International Applicants:

Letter of Admission:

If you hold a non-Austrian secondary school certificate, you must submit a letter of admission from the Rector of TU Graz.

Passport

Complete secondary school leaving certificate

Proof of language proficiency (German for German-taught programs; English for English-taught programs)

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Certificate of completion of a qualification test (if required for English-language programs).

Translations:

Documents in foreign languages must be translated into German or English by a sworn and court-certified interpreter.

Specific Program Requirements:

Engineering Programs:

May require additional examinations depending on your secondary school qualifications.

English-Language Programs:

You may need to submit a certificate of completion of a qualification test.

English Language Proficiency (for English-taught programs):

C1 level (CEFR) is generally required for Master’s programs, but check specific requirements for Bachelor’s programs.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Requirements:

Minimum 24 points across six subjects.

Must include one foreign language and mathematics.

Three subjects at Higher Level (HL), the rest at Standard Level (SL).

Letter of Motivation:
