1. International applicants who want to apply for a Master’s degree at HSB must first hold a recognized bachelor’s degree in a related field from a recognized university.

2. The degree must meet the academic requirements of the chosen program, and some programs may require a specific number of ECTS credits or subject background depending on the course.

3. If your previous degree was obtained outside Germany, you usually need to apply for a VPD through uni assist before submitting your application. The VPD confirms whether your degree is recognized and how it converts into the German grading system. After receiving it, you apply via HSB’s online portal CampInO.

4. Applicants must also provide standard documents such as bachelor’s transcripts, degree certificate, CV, passport copy, and a motivation letter. Some master’s programs may additionally require work experience, portfolio, interview, or aptitude based selection, depending on the field. 

For language requirements, you must demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction:

English taught programs: IELTS/TOEFL or equivalent proof of English proficiency

German taught programs: proof such as TestDaF, DSH, Goethe C1/C2, or telc C1 Hochschule
