1. International students applying for an undergraduate (Bachelor’s) programme at IADE Faculty of Design, Technology and Communication generally need to have completed secondary/high school education or an equivalent qualification that gives access to higher education in their home country.
2. For the international student admission route, IADE requires a valid passport, Portuguese tax identification number (NIF), and a certificate/transcript proving completion of secondary or equivalent education.
3. Foreign secondary school qualifications must be appropriately authenticated/apostilled, and applicants may need to obtain equivalence to Portuguese secondary education through the Portuguese education authorities.
4. Applicants must also complete IADE’s application process and submit the required enrolment documentation.
5. Admission can be completed online or in person, and applications may be submitted throughout the year, subject to programme availability and admission conditions.
6. For non EU applicants, additional immigration requirements apply after admission, including the appropriate Portuguese student visa/residence formalities.
7. IADE also advises international students to arrange valid health insurance and obtain a Portuguese NIF, which is required for various administrative and financial procedures in Portugal.
