1. International students applying for a Master’s/postgraduate degree at IADE Faculty of Design, Technology and Communication generally need a Bachelor’s degree or legally equivalent qualification.
2. For applicants holding a foreign degree, IADE requires an application form, identification document/passport, a Bachelor’s degree certificate showing the final grade, an updated CV, and a motivation letter.
3. The foreign degree must normally carry an Apostille if it was issued in a country that is party to the Hague Apostille Convention.
4. Applicants must also provide a NARIC declaration confirming the level of the foreign higher education qualification and, where applicable, the recognition status of the institution that awarded it.
5. Applications can be submitted online or in person, and IADE states that applications are accepted throughout the year, subject to available places and the suitability of the applicant’s profile for the selected programme.
6. Individual Master's programmes may impose additional academic or portfolio requirements, so applicants should check the specific programme before applying.
7. For non EU international students, admission is followed by the relevant Portuguese immigration requirements.
8. IADE provides an admission/application declaration after validating the required documents, which can be used for the student visa process.
