To apply for a bachelor’s degree, international students must have successfully completed their secondary education.
Applicants need to submit certified copies of their high school diploma and transcripts (with English translations if applicable), demonstrating strong academic performance.
Because instruction is in English, non native speakers must also show English proficiency with scores such as TOEFL iBT 80 (or 213 computer based), IELTS 6.0, CAE from Cambridge, or equivalent; students who studied in English previously may sometimes qualify based on that background instead of test scores.
In addition to academic credentials, applicants must provide other supporting documents, which typically include a completed application form, an essay (e.g., 200 300 words on an assigned topic), a resume/CV, a copy of the passport, passport sized photos, and at least one recommendation letter from a teacher or school official.
There is also a non refundable application fee (usually around CHF 150, EUR 120 and USD 140). Some programmes may also require an interview with an academic representative or a written case study response as part of the admissions review.
Admissions decisions at IIG are based on academic background, intellectual capacity, extracurricular achievements, and personal motivation, with applications evaluated holistically. The institute offers two yearly start dates (September and February), and international students are encouraged to check the undergraduate academic calendar for specific deadlines when planning their application.
