Audio students mix sound for film and TV projects, actors provide voiceovers for animation and game design projects, filmmakers direct music videos for emerging artists, and designers shape branding and visuals for entertainment management projects. Key events include Acting Industry Showcase, Design Graduate Gallery, Graduation Ceremony, Orientation Week, Martini Film Awards (in-house film festival), and Cassette Music Awards (performance and awards evening recognising emerging musicians). Step-by-Step Guide to Admission Requirements at JMC Academy

The below information is required while
completing the university application :

1. Proof of English proficiency: minimum IELTS 6.0 overall (with no single band score below 5.5) or equivalent.

2. Evidence of successful completion of a senior Secondary School certificate (transcripts and certificate must be translated and certified). For further information, see the 'Entry Requirements by Country' document.

3. Attend an interview in person or online.

4. Must be at least 18 years of age on commencement of studies.

5. Contemporary Music applicants must undertake an audition (audition videos/online links accepted for overseas or interstate applicants).

6. Songwriting applicants may undertake an audition OR submit a folio (song lyrics, charts, recorded original songs, or other relevant items).

7. Music Production applicants must submit a folio.

8. Animation, Games and Design applicants must prepare a portfolio of sample work/drawings.

9. Acting applicants must undertake an audition (further information provided upon application).
