Equivalent qualifications are also accepted, including TOEFL iBT (minimum 80), PTE Academic (minimum 59), Duolingo English Test (minimum 105), and certain Cambridge English qualifications. 5. Applicants are generally required to submit academic transcripts and certificates, proof of English language proficiency, a copy of their passport, and any programme specific supporting documents.

1. The postgraduate application requirements for international students at Munster Technological University (MTU) Bishopstown Campus generally require applicants to hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution. 2. Most taught Master’s programmes require a minimum Second Class Honours Grade 2 (2.2) or equivalent, although some programmes may have specific academic prerequisites, professional experience requirements, interviews, or portfolio assessments depending on the subject area. 3. International applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of English language proficiency. For most postgraduate Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science programmes, 4. MTU requires an IELTS Academic score of 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5.
