1. International students applying for a postgraduate (Master's or Postgraduate Diploma) programme at the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon (IPL) must meet the admission requirements established by both the institute and the academic unit offering the programme.

2. Applicants are generally required to hold a recognized bachelor's degree or an equivalent higher education qualification. The qualification may be a Portuguese degree, a foreign higher education degree awarded under the Bologna Process, or another foreign degree recognized by the competent academic body of IPL as equivalent for admission purposes.

3. In some cases, applicants with significant professional, scientific, or academic experience may also be considered if the relevant academic unit determines that they have the necessary qualifications to undertake postgraduate studies.

4. Applicants must also satisfy any programme specific admission requirements, which are determined by the individual school within the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon.

5. Depending on the programme, candidates may need to submit a curriculum vitae (CV), motivation letter, academic transcripts, portfolio (for creative disciplines), or attend an interview.
