The university issues certificates from the study place which confirm academic employment at the university. Certificates are provided after the Decree on enrollment is issued. Military registration certificates are available at 219 MMB office, certificates for allowances at 407A office, and certificates for hostel, bank, school, or internship at window #1 in Registrar's Office.

Applicants must provide identity card and its paper copy, school graduation certificate or college graduation diploma with appendix, medical certificate in 075-U form, vaccination card in 063 form, fluorography snapshot printout (issued in June, July, or August), 8 photos of 3x4 cm size, certificate confirming social category for grant quota, and military registration certificate for boys.

Satbayev University is located in Almaty at K. Satpayev Street, 22. From Almaty International Airport, take buses 3, 92, or 79. From Almaty-1 railway station, take trolleybus 7 or buses 34, 30, or 18. From Almaty-2 railway station, take trolleybuses 5, 6 or buses 92, 98, or 79. From Sayakhat Bus Station, take buses 3, 92, 98, or 79.

Applications are submitted online through https://dormitory.satbayev.university by filling out a questionnaire and uploading scans of required documents including passport and documents confirming priority accommodation rights. Since dormitory places are limited, priority is given to first-year students, orphans, persons with disabilities, and foreign students.

Visa support (invitation letter) is issued on the basis of an enrollment order. A foreign student should contact the Consulate General in the country of residence after receiving an invitation letter from the international office of Satbayev University. After receiving a study visa and upon arrival in Almaty, the student must provide a passport to the international office for registration of a passport at the place of temporary residence in Kazakhstan for the study duration.

Upon arrival, foreign students must provide originals of all documents along with certificate of solvency from the bank (at least $5,000 in the account), certificate from PSC confirming submission of notarized copy of educational documents for nostrification, vaccination card № 063, medical certificate № 075-u and fluorography, certificate of HIV testing, medical insurance (for 1 year), contract, and 3×4 photos (3 pcs.).
