HKU offers several on-campus housing options including 13 residential halls (primarily for undergraduates), the Graduate House for postgraduates, International House with double rooms and meal plans, University Residence Halls, and Pokfield Road Residences for married couples. However, availability—especially for postgraduates—is limited and highly competitive.
Postgraduate students are encouraged to explore off-campus options, as on-campus spaces are limited. HKU provides assistance through the Housing Service and CEDARS (Centre of Development and Resources for Students), which help students find private rental accommodation near the university.
