Higher Secondary Certificate (Equivalent to German Abitur):

Must have completed secondary education equivalent to the German Hochschulzugangsberechtigung (HZB).

Depending on your country, this may require 12 years of schooling plus one year of university or a foundation course (Studienkolleg).

Proof of German Language Proficiency:

Since most bachelor’s programs are taught in German, one of the following is required:

TestDaF (minimum level 4 in all parts)

DSH-2 certificate

Goethe-Zertifikat C2

telc C1 Hochschule

Application Platform:

Applications are submitted through uni-assist for international students.

Other Required Documents:

School leaving certificate + transcript (officially translated if not in German or English)

Proof of German proficiency

Valid passport or ID

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Motivation letter (if required by specific program)

APS Certificate (for selected countries):

Mandatory for applicants from India, China, and Vietnam.
