Hasselt University operates primarily across two campuses: • Campus Diepenbeek: Situated in a greenbelt area near Hasselt, this campus spans 75 hectares and houses several research institutes, incubators, and spin-offs. • Campus Hasselt: Located in the city center, covering 2 hectares, it comprises the Rectorate, the Faculty of Law, and the historic Old Prison building, which has been repurposed to include a restaurant, two auditoriums, and study rooms within former prison cells. These campuses provide a blend of modern facilities and historical architecture, offering a unique environment for students.
