. What are the requirements to study at the University?

Ans. Different schools have different requirements. It absolutely depends on the courses one is willing to take.  International students must submit either TOEFL or IELTS for only graduate courses.  If you are applying for Maters courses you are not required to submit the above. Q. What should be the score in IELTS and TOEFL?

Ans: Students are expected to score at least 6.5 band. 

Q. When the University starts its application process?

Ans: There are three terms of admission: the fall, spring and summer.

Fall: January 15, Deadline to accept offer for admission: between April 15 and June 15

Spring: June 15, By November 1 one should accept the offer and proceed with the Visa work

Summer: December 1, By march 1 one should accept the offer and proceed with the Visa work

Q. What is the cost of the application fee?

Ans: The cost is $55.

Q. Does the University have accreditation?

Ans: The University of Pittsburgh is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher education.
