Academic Qualifications: Applicants must have completed 12 years of schooling (i.e., high school diploma) and typically require a minimum average of 70–75%, depending on the field. For highly competitive programs, the requirements are:
75% for Engineering
80% for Pharmacy
85% for Dentistry
90% for Medicine
Program Eligibility: Students from the General stream are ineligible for Medicine, Dental Medicine, and Pharmacy. Other programs may require completion of a foundation/preparatory year to qualify.
Document Validity: High school certificates must be issued within the last three years, except for medical and dental fields where the limit is one year. Older certificates may only lead to conditional admission, requiring the completion of at least 20 credits with a cumulative GPA of 2.0. Failure to meet this will result in dismissal without refund.
English Proficiency: Required scores for programs taught in English include:
IELTS: Minimum overall 5.0
TOEFL ITP: 500
EmSAT (paper-based): 1225
English may be waived if previous education was in English from a recognized institution.
