Through personal safety alarms, campus security, and the SafeZone app for instant assistance, the university places a high priority on student safety. They offer advice on how to keep safe off campus, including how to avoid dangerous situations, stay in groups, and use trustworthy cabs. In order to increase student awareness and promote a safer student experience, the institution also works with South Wales Police and provides Students' Union programs, like free personal safety alarms and assistance.
