Ajman University was established on 17 June 1988, marking it as the first private university in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). It also attained a pioneering role in the UAE by welcoming expatriate students of all genders from its inception . The institution later shortened its name from Ajman University of Science and Technology.

Applications are submitted online via the AU admissions portal. For undergraduates, a secondary school certificate (attested if from outside UAE) is required; graduates must hold a recognized bachelor’s (or master’s for PhD).
Only the MBBS (Medicine) program requires an entrance exam. Most other programs do not have entrance test requirements.
You can submit scans of available certificates and scores now. Your admission will be provisional—complete documentation must be provided later.
