Rishikesh, India
1. For MBBS admission, international applicants to AIIMS Rishikesh generally need to meet the eligibility requirements applicable to Indian candidates, including completion of 10+2 or an equivalent secondary qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English, and fulfil the prescribed age and academic requirements.
2. Admission to the MBBS programme is conducted through the NEET UG and Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) counselling process for the applicable categories. The MCC has published the 2026 UG Information Bulletin, so applicants should follow the current-year rules rather than older AIIMS prospectuses.
3. International applicants should prepare their passport/identity documents, secondary school certificate and marksheets, proof of qualifying examination, photographs and other documents specified by MCC/AIIMS.
4. Foreign educational qualifications may need appropriate equivalence/eligibility verification before admission.
5. Applicants allotted an AIIMS Rishikesh seat must report with the MCC provisional seat allotment letter, NEET scorecard and admit card, 10th and 10+2 certificates/marksheets, migration or transfer certificate and character certificate, along with other documents required at reporting.
6. For foreign nationals and OCI applicants, the exact admission route and eligibility can differ according to the current MCC/AIIMS rules.
7. AIIMS Rishikesh's older B.Sc. prospectuses explicitly provided a separate foreign national route, including diplomatic channel submission, but these provisions should not be assumed to apply to the current MBBS intake because admission rules have changed over time.
