 St Olaf College History

St Olaf College's history started in the year 1874. A group of Norwegian-American pastors and farmers that was led by Pastor Bernt Julius Muus played a big role in the establishment of the college. The college was named after the King and the Patron Saint Olaf II of Norway. It also has a religious affiliation with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
