Tomsk Polytechnic University History
Tomsk Polytechnic University is the oldest university in Tomsk, Russia. The university was founded in 1896 and was opened in 1900 in the name of Tomsk Technological Institute. The institute was separated into five divisions, three of which remained in Tomsk. The three institutes in Tomsk reunited to form a new institute that was named as Tomsk Polytechnic Institute.

The University Campus is more than 200 free Wi-Fi areas and the third places, allowing students to relax and use Wi-Fi at any point of the Campus.
