Al Nahrain University History

Al Nahrain University also called Nahrain University is a higher education establishment located in Baghdad, Iraq. The university was founded in 1987 and was called Saddam University initially. It adopted its present name in 2003 post invasion of Iraq.

Al Nahrain University Programs, Courses, and Schools

Al Nahrain University comprises of 9 faculties in total in addition to 4 research centres which offer undergraduate and graduate programs in various subjects. Some of the subject offerings include Medicine and Dentistry, Science and Technology, and Information Engineering.

Al Nahrain University also offers programs in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Civil Engineering, Natural and Exact Sciences, Law, Business and Management, Accountancy, Economics, Political Sciences, and Pharmacy.

Al Nahrain University Campuses

Al Nahrain University is based across two urban campuses in Baghdad, Iraq. The first campus is located in Al-Jadriya suburb close to University of Baghdad and a second smaller campus is located in Kadhimiya. Both the campuses offers a number of student centric facilities.
