Montana Tech History

Montana Tech’s history started in the year 1900 as the Montana State School of Mines. It got affiliated by the University of Montana in the year 1994. In the year 2017, the board members voted to designate University as a part of special four-year universities. In 2018, it officially became Montana Tech from Montana Tech to the University of Montana.
