Colby College

Colby College is based at Waterville, Maine. The college is one of the oldest liberal arts-college dating back to the 1813. The college is also of the renowned colleges in the United States. 

Colby College History 

Colby College was founded in the year 1813 and for this reason it is also one of the oldest colleges in the States. The college initially started as the Maine Literary and Theological Institution and later on the it was renamed as Waterville College. In 1828, it was decided again to rename the college as Waterville Academy. In 1899, it finally came to known as Colby College. The college since then has received donations and funds to expand and with time the college added more courses and programs.
