Erskine College was established in 1839. It is a private Christian institution located in Due West, South Carolina, USA. The College’s acceptance rate is 60%. The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

Erskine College History

In 1839, Erskine College was founded by Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. In 1894, the institution started enrolling women. In 1925, the college was accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). In 1927, the college merged with Due West Female College and in 1929, merged with Bryson College. The college’s first president was E.E. Pressly (1839-1847) and the current president is Steve Adamson (who was appointed recently).

A professor also may conduct research where authorized by the sponsor. (Minimum: 3 weeks; Maximum: 5 Years)
Research Scholar: A foreign national whose primary purpose is conducting research, observing, or consulting in connection with a research project at research institutions, corporate research facilities, museums, libraries, post-secondary accredited academic institutions, or similar types of institutions. A research scholar also may teach or lecture where authorized by the sponsor. (Minimum: 3 weeks; Maximum: 5 Years)
Short-Term Scholar: A foreign national who is a professor, research scholar, or person with similar education or accomplishments who enters the United States for a short-term visit for the purpose of lecturing, observing, consulting, training, or demonstrating special skills at research institutions, museums, libraries, post-secondary accredited academic institutions, or similar types of institutions. (Minimum: N/A; Maximum: 6 Month)
